You need someone experienced, professional, highly recommended, who you can trust. Someone the children will instantly like and who has lots of different ideas. Oh, and who is so modest ... well, it's my job!

Miss Wonky often helps me out with the younger ones (who may need extra attention), especially if there's more than a dozen or so children. She's also an excellent face painter but because they're usually dressed up she'll just paint small motifs on their cheeks.

Sadly, I'm the Wizard that sat at the back of the class. So. Not very good at magic then - but the children will be! Older children love to help me with the younger ones - and even see some real magic - who knows?
Stories, games, magic, balloons - and more!

For the children

• For the younger ones I have the story of Old MacDonalds Farm with pictures and singing - and a magic, but naughty, cat.
• A Balloon Bonanza where they'll all learn to make their own Balloon Animals, hats and swords (even learn to joust!),
• Music for the games (which I win all of!),
• a Magical and funny ghost story,
• a Bubble Machine ...
• Colouring in Wizards for when they need a quiet five minutes
• a Crazy Quiz
• We may also go outside for some Wacky Races if the weather is good and the grounds safe.
• and lots more.

Make it a special day for the children too!

A big variety of things to keep all ages and temperaments happy!

And for you

• The day is yours - I don't take another booking on your day
• You can change the timing the day before if you need to!
• I'm there for as long as you need me (what wedding runs to time?)
• I'm used to having children from tots to teens (and grown-ups that sneak in!)
• I'm fully insured and a member of Equity. I'm also CRB checked.
• I've been doing it for over twenty years - and believe it or not, I still like kids!

What I suggest is...

ONE: First of all, book me so that I meet the children whilst they're still with their parents. They're not suddenly dumped on this strange man. The idea is for them not to want to keep running to Mummy - who is trying to relax, listen to speeches, perhaps even have a few drinks - in peace! Three year olds and under may have to be looked after by Mummy or Daddy at times though
TWO: Usually the children will eat with me in a separate room, sometimes they come to me as soon as they've finished eating with you, sometimes I sit with them in the main room at their own table. As soon as they get bored I can whisk them away and leave you and your guests to relax...

How much do you cost?

Weddings cost more than a simple birthday party for all the reasons above. Not least the flexibility. Phone me up to change times right up to the day before - because the day is yours! £425 for the first two hours and £95 per hour thereafter. 

How much do you cost?

I am based in Hereford but travel all over the country - even abroad. My basic charge is £145 for a 45 minute show around Hereford, more as I go further afield towards Gloucester, Evesham, Llandod. And so it goes - I work often in London, Manchester - anywhere!
A second show is an extra £95.
